Known for its huge rivers, splashing hippos and immersive culture, Limpopo is one of the most interesting, and abundant provinces in South Africa. Just a short distance from Jozi (Johannesburg), the former Northern Province is one of wild bushveld, big five, and amazing experiences.
The summer season, when temperatures can reach 33°C (91°F) runs from November to February with milder temperatures from March to October. WInter is at its coldest in June and has a temperature range of approximately 3°C to 22°C in June (37°F to 72°F).
The Limpopo Province is a summer rainfall region. On average the annual rainfall measures 400mm to 500mm (15.7" to 19.6").
Places to visit
Mystic Monkeys & Feathers Wildlife Park is open 365 days a year from 9am till 4pm. This park offers visitors an animal adventure for young and old.
